Jill studied acting at Northwestern University, just north of Chicago. That’s where she fell in love with improvisation. She took classes and performed at ImprovOlympic and then moved to Los Angeles to continue her training at the Groundlings Theater. Her work there culminated in a year-long stint in their Sunday Company.

In addition to Trophy Wife, she performs the Improvised Tennessee Williams with The Kind Strangers on Friday nights at IOWest. The Kind Strangers have presented this show to standing ovations at the Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle, and Phoenix improv festivals. They also improvise in the style of Dickens, Greek Tragedy, Law & Order, The Western, and TV Medical Drama.

Credits include over 50 national commercials, PERFECT COUPLES, LOVE BITES, THE MIDDLE, CSI: MIAMI, SECRET GIRLFRIEND, QUARTERLIFE, and more.

Jill lives in Silver Lake with her husband, David, and their giant cat, Roscoe.
